Colombia Take Victory In Jamaica Clash

Colombia took a 2-1 victory in their international friendly match against Jamaica on Thursday. It was their first meeting since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The match was a tight affair, with both sides having chances to take the lead. Colombia eventually took the lead in the 33rd minute, when Juan Quintero scored with a powerful strike from outside the box.

Jamaica responded well, and equalised just 12 minutes later when Dever Orgill scored from a corner kick. However, Colombia regained the lead in the 72nd minute thanks to a goal from Andres Ibarguen.

The win will be a welcome boost for Colombia, who are currently preparing for the Copa America and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Jamaica, meanwhile, have been on a poor run of form of late, and will be hoping to turn things around in their upcoming matches.
